What is the ceremony?

Do I need any prior experience or beliefs?

None at all. The ceremony is open to everyone regardless of background, belief system, or experience level. All that is required is an open mind and a sincere intention to be present.

What should I expect during the ceremony?

You will be welcomed by our facilitators, guided through a brief orientation, and then led into the ceremonial space. The session includes periods of silence, guided breathwork, sound, and group sharing. You are always free to move at your own pace.

Each ceremony runs for approximately 120 minutes. We recommend arriving 15 minutes early so you can settle in comfortably before we begin.

How do I book a spot?

Can I cancel or reschedule my booking?

Yes. If your plans change, please contact us at temple@illuminatetemple.co.za or call +27 63 673 4808 as soon as possible so we can free up your spot for another attendee.

I did not receive my confirmation email. What should I do?

Please check your spam or junk folder first. If it is not there, contact us at temple@illuminatetemple.co.za with your name and the date you booked and we will resend your ticket.

Is there a joining fee?

No. Joining Booking Ceremony is completely free. There is no membership fee, no joining fee, and no payment required at the temple — ever. If anyone tells you otherwise, please contact us immediately.

Will I be asked for money at the temple?

Absolutely not. We will never ask you for money at the door, during a ceremony, or as a condition of membership. Our ceremonies are offered in the spirit of genuine service.

How is the temple funded?

The temple is sustained by voluntary contributions from community members who feel called to support the work. Contribution is always optional and never a condition of attendance or membership.

I was approached by someone asking for money to join. Is this legitimate?
